“Atlantic to Adriatic” is an album built on connection — across distance, time, and sound. A collaboration spanning oceans, the record transforms each track into a shared space where field recordings, classical instrumentation, and synthesizers intertwine to evoke memory, place, and movement. Every piece emerges from the intersection of our two worlds — Venice and Boston — bridging geography and time to create something timeless.
At its heart, this album is about capturing the in-between of those fleeting moments, where sound tells a story of its own without the need for words. Whether it's the hum of the London Underground in “Conversations on a Train”, the reflective stillness of “The World Under the Snow”, or the restless energy of “That Saturday”, each piece transports the listener into a cinematic, immersive experience. The opening and closing tracks — “Restless City (Prologue)” and “Our Life in Reverse (Epilogue)” gently frame this journey, making it feel like a film without images, a story told through tone, texture, and emotion.
The process of passing these tracks back and forth, layering elements, and composing them into fully realized pieces was just as important as the final sound. The result is a deep, atmospheric soundscape filled with experimentalism, metaphors, and meaning. The album feels both intimate and expansive — a soundtrack for a film that only exists in the listener’s imagination.
